Biography

Jennifer Bussell, M.D., earned her medical degree from University of Illinois-Chicago where she received numerous awards for her research in physiology. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine specializing in primary care at the Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. During her residency, Dr. Bussell was named Intern of the Year and the Senior Resident of the year. After her residency, she gained further experience as MacNeal's Internal Medicine Chief Resident and subsequently joined the medical staff.  As the Assistant Program Director of MacNeal's Transitional Year residency program, Dr. Bussell is actively involved in training medical students and residents.  She is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago.  She is board certified and is a member of the AMA.   Her clinical emphasis is on women’s health and preventive care.
 
Dr. Bussell is an internal medicine specialist associated with MacNeal Hospital serving patients in Riverside and throughout Chicago.
