Philosophy

I am dedicated to a 'patient-centered' style of comprehensive medical care for the entire family, from newborns to seniors. I listen carefully to my patients and provide them with efficient, quality medical care.

Biography

Dr. Dirkes received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences at the Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois in 1976. Dr. Dirkes completed a residency program in Family Medicine at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois.

Board-certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Dirkes has worked in emergency and occupational medicine. He taught a geriatric fellowship program with the University of Illinois at British Home, where he once served as Medical Director.

He is a family medicine specialist associated with MacNeal Hospital serving patients in Westchester and throughout Chicago.
