Janis Wiener, M.D.

Biography

Dr. Wiener received an undergraduate degree from Yale University, where she graduated, with honors, earning a bachelor of arts degree. She earned a medical degree in 1987 from University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York. Dr. Wiener went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by a University of Chicago/University of Illinois joint fellowship in Infectious Diseases.

Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Wiener is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American College of Physicians, the Illinois Medical Society and the Chicago Medical Society, and is published in several medical publications.

Dr. Wiener is an internal medicine specialist associated with MacNeal Hospital serving patients in Oak Park and throughout Chicago.
